Danae, Founder & Corporate Attorney
Danae is the Founder of Beyond the Numbers. Applying to law school as an Afro-Dominican, immigrant woman with a low LSAT score (145) was intimidating for her. Despite her low score, she ensured she put together an immaculate application package. She prayed that law schools would see her holistically and beyond the numbers reflected on her application. Motivated by her success, Danae set out to help all BIPOC women gain admissions into law school.
Danae is a Corporate Attorney at a global law firm. Prior to law school, Danae worked as a paralegal in both a boutique litigation law firm in Los Angeles and a medium sized law firm in Chicago under the tax department. During law school, Danae worked as a law clerk for two global firms and the Los Angeles Public Defender’s Office. Danae offers insight and expertise into the private practice.
